TAMPA, Fla. – Feb. 9, 2017 – Senior marketing agency executive Laura Desmond has been named to Syniverse’s Board of Directors. In joining the Syniverse Board, Desmond brings extensive experience in the media and advertising industry with a 30-year career that includes serving as CEO of Publicis Groupe’s Starcom MediaVest Group.

Well known in the media industry, Desmond became one of the youngest CEOs to lead a global marketing services company when she was named to that role for Starcom MediaVest Group in 2008. In addition to overseeing a staff of over 6,000-plus members in more than 100 offices, she more than doubled the size of the Starcom MediaVest Group network while partnering on the marketing and communication strategies for a number of leading global brands.
